Steve Terry

Steve is a Chartered Accountant and joined Chavereys in April 2019 having spent 20 years working in the fruit industry specialising in Finance, IT, warehouse/pack house/stock management and system implementations. Steve has extensive practical hands-on experience of working in these environments and involvement in new depot design and build projects.

Steve has an honours degree from Loughborough in Accountancy & Financial Management and, during his subsequent training with one small regional and two large international practices, worked on a wide range of clients from individuals and sole traders through to listed companies. At manager level within the practice, he spent some time working in insolvency and corporate reconstruction as well as managing the office IT systems. On leaving practice in 1992, Steve held a plc Finance Director position for 5 years, during which time he implemented new IT, financial and operational systems and completed a significant corporate acquisition and the subsequent nationwide post-acquisition integration processes.

Steve has a wealth of practical and commercial experience gained across a wide range of industries and has extensive strategic and hands-on experience undertaking project scoping, planning, management and systems/process implementation across financial, operational and IT business segments.
