A law graduate, Richard trained in a non-specialist firm in Ashford gaining a wide experience of a variety of commercial businesses and not for profit organisations before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. Richard joined Chavereys on its inception in 1998 and in 2008 he became a Fellow of the ICAEW.

In keeping with his family farming background he has a “hands on” practical approach to work, Richard has specialised in acting for historic estates and agricultural mutual organisations as well as providing accounting and taxation services to all manner of rural businesses and rurally focussed charities.
